=====
Laurie Devernoe (Dev-er-no) is a devoted follower of Jesus and coffee enthusiast.
Laurie wrote Coffee House Parenting, where she shares heartfelt, practical ways to infuse your faith into family life while finding time to connect with God and nurture your soul. As a mom of TRIPLET daughters, followed by a son 18 months later and another son 8 years after that, (Triplets +2) Laurie found that sharing her favorite coffee and her faith in Jesus inspired her to raise children who would grow into adults with a deep love for God.
In her second book, Seeing Through the Darkness, Laurie shares candidly about her journey of losing her vision in one eye and how the broken pieces of her life and mental health lay before her—pieces she would find in the darkness that now enabled her to see.
She is passionate about helping people how to figure out how to transform everyday routines by applying Biblical principles to live impactful lives.

I first heard Laurie speak and share her story at a Mastering Mothering event at my church. I was instantly captivated by the way she told her story and above all, her love for Jesus! Instantly I knew Laurie would be a perfect guest on my podcast which is meant to empower other mothers. She shared wisdom and firsthand advice on becoming more Godly mothers as the Lord has called us all to be. Laurie, being a mom of 5, had a lot to say on the subject and shared scripture to backup her "why". Laurie has been a great blessing in my life and I know she is a great blessing to so many! Her passion to help others, her positivity and joy for the Lord is contagious and welcoming.

I was delightfully surprised when Laurie invited me to be part of her team for a women’s retreat. Not only was it a pleasure to be asked, (sometimes people see something in you, you don’t see in yourself) but working under Laurie’s leadership, obedience, and influence from the Holy Spirit was an incredible learning and growing experience. The magnitude of the way the Lord worked in the lives of these women was something I had never experienced before. Chains were just hitting the floor, and people were being set free! Thanks be to God. Laurie does not take what she does lightly, so there is a lot of prayer, consideration, and discernment in her decision making skills. God be praised.
