Angela Cody, aka Major Mom®, as seen on Shark Tank, used to have the keys to the nukes and carried a survival bag to work every day. Now, she carries a label maker, sharpies and super sticky Post-Its to her clients' homes as a Professional Organizer. She is a power house speaker that commands respect and laughter! Angela Cody, aka Major Mom®, is the founder of Major Organizers®, a residential organizing company. She spent 14 years dedicated to serving her country in the US Air Force as a satellite operator and missile combat crew commander. She attained the rank of Major in the USAF and her husband nicknamed her Major Mom after their first child was born. After her son was born in 2005, she decided military life and motherhood were not compatible for the kind of mom she dreamed of being. So, she resigned her commission to be a full-time, stay-at-home mom. Shortly afterwards, the Great Recession hit and they lost all but one of their real estate holdings and closed their real appraisal business. Out of necessity she started her organizing company in 2005 and soon discovered it was her calling. She brought on business partners in 2007 and began hiring employees, aka Liberators, in 2008. She has been building the Major Mom for 18 years. After her appearance on Shark Tank in 2016, she began franchising her concept. She has teams of Liberators in Colorado and Indiana. She had teams in Arizona, Alabama, Ohio and Texas, but those locations were shut down during the pandemic.
In 1992 at Indiana University, she was awarded Distinguished Graduate of Air Force ROTC and earned a BA in Speech Communication. On active duty, she went to night school and earned an MBA from University of Colorado. She is a long-time member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and Faithful Organizers (FO). She has served as the President of NAPO-Colorado and Executive Director for Faithful Organizers.
Angela discovered Jesus when she was 7 years old thanks to the Baptist bus ministry in Florida. She is of German descent and she exchanged salutes with a Frenchman in 2002. Like most women, she sometimes feels torn between kids and career and the balancing act is difficult, but she’s thankful for a husband who is supportive. She moved with her family and the military over 37 times so she knows how to keep her load light. Angela was born to create order out of chaos. She understands getting organized is not easy, but it is necessary.
Angela walks her talk and she is ready to teach her walk as you will learn strategies and techniques to declutter your brain, home and office. You will be inspired and motivated to tackle that organizing project you may have been putting off. She is on a mission to motivate and equip busy parents to create functional and beautiful homes. She will restore order to the world, one speaking gig at a time!

I have had the privilege of being present for dozens of speaking engagements by Angela Cody-Rouget over many years. She is considered a topical expert in the area of organization, and can handily speak to the issues of leadership, time management, and business development. She made several appearances on my nationally syndicated business talk radio and television shows, and it was her ability to communicate clearly and dynamically that had us inviting her back again and again. She is just as comfortable speaking for an audience of 2,000 as she is speaking to 20.
