More About Kristi Huseby

Kristi Huseby is a writer, speaker and for the past eight years has been the Women’s Ministry Director of a church in West Michigan.  But recently she was accepted with EFCA ReachGlobal as a full-time missionary.  Kristi will be traveling the globe mentoring, training, and discipling women. 

She and her husband have been married for a very long time!  They have four crazy, outrageous, wonderful boys who have turned into incredible men.

She loves Starbucks coffee, reading a good book, all things chocolate, writing a blog post, experiencing different cultures, discovering the common bonds with women around the world and finding kindred spirits in unlikely places.

In this next step in her journey, Kristi is excited to do what she has longed to do since she was a little girl. Her heart is for the women of the world who are so beaten down, abused, unseen and forgotten. God has been preparing her for this new adventure through all the years of leading women at her church, serving as a crisis pregnancy counselor and her various mentoring opportunities. She is looking forward to training, encouraging and empowering women leaders to serve God in their communities around the world.

Yes, she will be traveling but she is still available to speak to women here in the states and would love to share with the women of your community.  Kristi knows first-hand the struggle to live out the Christian life. Through a series of personal crises in her marriage, parenting a wayward son, and broken friendships, she searched to understand what it looked like to have an intimate relationship with God. Eventually, she began to discover the AMAZING relationship the very God of the Universe wanted to have with her.  In her teaching and speaking, Kristi shares the power of our stories to change lives.  Jesus used stories in a powerful way to impact people’s lives. His illustrations helped listeners come to see the truth in a new light – to realize their own struggles and grab hold of God’s transformational grace!
