I am a wife to an incredible man since 2011, a mother to 3 amazing adult children and 8 grandchildren. I have known the Lord and walked with him for many years.
I was married to my children's father for 21 years. Those years were very difficult years, with verbal, mental, physical and emotional abuse. I desperately wanted my marriage to work, and what I know now, is that I can't "fix" him. I was broken and lost when I finally walked away from that marriage. I had a season where life seemed dark, and I wasn't sure what to do. I made some choices that weren't the best. I finally came to a realization that I needed to figure out what was broken in me, and why I was attracted to men who were abusive. I found an amazing counselor, and for the first time I was completely honest with myself and her. I was able to look at the shame, regrets, anger, and pain I had carried. I was in counseling for over 3 years, and at the same time I got involved with Celebrate Recovery, a faith based 12 step program, where I finally was able to find freedom from those hurts.
In 2017, my husband & I was approached to help start and lead a Celebrate Recovery at our church. I was the Ministry Leader until God clearly said it was time to disband the group December of 2023.
In 2021 I started pursing a Life Coaching certificate, Biblical Counseling Certificate, and a Mental Health Certificate. I just graduated Christian Speakers Bootcamp with Robyn Dykstra and am excited about starting a speaking ministry along with my coaching. God has been faithful to me on this journey and my desire is to help other women who may be walking in a place of brokenness, feeling lost, and are desperate for someone to help them navigate life. Or just need to hear there is hope, through Jesus.
I have always loved sharing the good news of Jesus through public speaking and have been able to do that with many different venues. I wanted to learn more and be the best at public speaking so I entered Christian Women's Speakers Bootcamp and graduated May 25, 2024. I am excited about this new chapter in life.

I first met Cheryl Hines while going through a mental health crisis. She was a huge help when it came to making the right decisions for my safety and for beginning my healing journey. I've had the privelege of hearing her speak twice now, and each time, I am encouraged and blessed by her messages.

Cheryl is a mighty woman of God. She has been there for me throughout my healing journey. If it had not been for her i wouldnt be where i am today. There was several times that she would leave her home and come to me in crisis. Cheryl speaks Gods truth and life. Her passions are helping others and speaking the love and healing power of Jesus.

Cheryl is passionate about speaking to women, especially when it comes to helping women in their journey of recovery. She has been involved in Celebrate Recovery and similar ministries for years, and is passionate about helping women who are coming out of trauma and addiction and similar life struggles. She has a calling from the Lord to be a life coach to others, and has had the opportunity to begin doing this some. She does wish to be able to step more fully into that calling, however. She also has a calling to speak—perhaps especially to women—and to share her own story, and to encourage others in their own journey of recovery. Cheryl has opened her home to many different women who are wanting to walk their journey of recovery and are needing that extra support. Cheryl has been recently involved with SPA Women’s Ministry Homes, and would come and lead a devotion with the ladies on occasion.  Cheryl has a big heart and longs for more opportunities to express what God has given her.Â

This review may seem somewhat biased because I am her husband. I have witnessed first hand Cheryl’s professional expertise and dedication to her clients. She spends many hours and sometimes days preparing her material and doing the necessary research to make sure she delivers a high quality experience for those who hire her and those who attend her speaking events. She loves what she does.....speaking to, teaching, encouraging and uplifting the broken women who are lucky enough to come in contact with her. Many times speakers minister about things that they have no knowledge. After all, a doctor does not have to have had cancer to treat cancer. HOWEVER, a doctor's ability to really understand their patient increases exponentially if they have experienced the things they are treating. That's what I think of instantly with Cheryl. She speaks out of first hand experience...been there, done that. Obviously she has not experienced everything, but has spent years helping women in recovery. She speaks out of her own pain and struggle to help others. She is truly ministering out of II Corinthians by comforting with the same comfort she has received.
