Christian Speaker
Thomaston Georgia 30286
Let me say only what the Lord says.
Nancy Jo Wilson is an author, blogger, home schooler, and pastor's wife who helps women gain confidence, peace and security in their identity in Christ. Through her personal anecdotes, and as she engages you interactively, you'll grow stronger in the Word..
====
Nancy Jo Wilson wrote her first short story in second grade and continued writing throughout her childhood. She, also, performed in children’s theater and as a lay reader during elementary and middle school. In high school, she wrote for the teen section of the local newspaper and received a writing scholarship from the state of Tennessee. Along with writing, she participated in drama and the National Forensic League, a speech and debate organization. By the end of her junior year, she’d earned a Double Ruby, the highest accolade from the National Forensics League, and competed in its national competition. In her church, she taught during Youth Sunday and on mission trips.
After high school, Nancy moved on to the college of her dreams—Florida State University. The dean who spoke at the college orientation encouraged students to major in what challenged them, not what came easily. So, she pursued science, majoring in Biology Education, as well as Theater electives. She came to regret the decision in later years, because her first love was always the written word.
Nancy has filled many roles within the body of Christ, including participation on a church planting team. Her main passions are teaching and encouraging others in their faith.
Ministries:: • Teacher • Cleaning Team • Small group leader • Women’s Conference Speaker • Children’s Ministry Leader • Women’s Ministry Director • Social Media Director
After taking a break for motherhood and homeschooling, Nancy returned to writing in her mid-thirties. Through mystery shopping reviews and online writing challenges, she sharpened her skills. Many times, she earned the distinction of editor’s choice on Faithwriters.com. She published a few articles, but mainly focused on her blog, six5mom.com. She wrote her first book Escape the Amoz, for her oldest son and published it through Kindle Direct. Lost in the System, her current novel will hit stores this fall. While her novels land in the science fiction/fantasy category, she writes crossover stories a wide range of reader's enjoy.
Articles and Awards: • “Why You Need a Homeschool Mission Statement?” Practical Homeschooling, September/October 2012. • “Homeschool 101,” MauMag, April/May 2012. • “The Art of the Staycation,” MauMag, January/February 2013. • “King of Hearts” Third Place winner, 2016 Ozarks Chapter of the ACW short story contest. • Escape the Amoz Second Place winner for science fiction in the 2009 Do It Write! competition.
Now, she balances ministry, writing, and homeschooling. A Jacksonville, FL native, Nancy currently resides in Thomaston, GA with her husband, younger son, dog, and three cats.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Nancy as a friend and also fellow ministry partner. She has a heart and passion for women and it becomes evident with her relationships with them, but also in her public speaking. She is genuine in her communication and engages the audience with applicable truths from God’s Word. I always leave feeling inspired and encouraged to grow deeper in my walk with Christ.

Highly recommend Nancy Jo as a speaker for your women’s ministry event! The whole process, from contact to the event, was seamless and comfortable. She spoke on Godly Friendship and Prayer at our event. Both topics were on spot, heartfelt and meaningful. She was engaging, knowledgeable and relaxed. Nothing but great comments about Nancy Jo from our attendees!
