My name is Dejonna (De-on-a) Thornton. I have been actively sharing the gospel consistently for the last eleven years. One of the things I have been known for is the one who does the salvation call! Because life with Jesus is just too good to not share! I love to bring encouragement, hope to the hurting, and help add confidence to prayers!
I would describe myself as your typical Proverbs 31 Woman. I am married to an amazing husband & father of my two beautiful children, who I home school. (Plus I have a bonus daughter in college). I currently serve locally as the Kids Church Director at the Lifehouse Church. I have some amazing teams that I lead as well as a mom's life group. I have the pleasure of regularly pouring into those kids, and I also get to speak into lives on my team members and also the women the Lord has placed in my path!
I am also a realtor and part of an amazing team of inspiring, high energy, and high achieving women and men. I also have a podcast, called Rise, that I use as a platform to additionally share the word of God, which is my most favorite thing, next to my own one on one time with the Lord. Rise has been listened to internationally which is pretty neat if you think about how amazing technology is - that one's voice could be listened to some place around the world without any prompting on my part! I didn't buy a plane ticket to those places, I didn't collect a magnet for my fridge, but I somehow went there without even a passport stamp!
In my down time, I love to laugh with my family, train and play with my Great Pyrenees puppy, watch movies, go hiking or to the beach. I love to go on adventures with my littles.
