Laura Diehl Is an author, singer/songwriter, podcaster and missionary to grieving parents, who brings hope and encouragement to shattered souls and those who love them. As she shares her story of losing her daughter, and the despair of not wanting to live, you'll be inspired and uplifted to see how God transforms horrific pain into a life of meaning and purpose again.

After the death of their oldest daughter, Laura Diehl, along with her husband, Dave, founded Grieving Parents Sharing Hope (GPS Hope) and travel full time in their Hope Mobile (a 38-foot motor home) providing support and resources to grieving parents on their difficult journey, including local weekend retreats. Laura hosts the weekly Grieving Parents Sharing Hope podcast and is also a singer and national speaker. She has written several books, including the multiple award winning When Tragedy Strikes: Rebuilding Your Life with Hope and Healing After the Death of Your Child (Morgan James Publishing, New York) and Reflections of Hope: Daily Readings for Bereaved Parents.
Laura also ministers to the body of Christ, bringing hope encouragement through her words and music to those who are struggling wtth the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Dave and Laura’s home base is in Southern Wisconsin and are the parents of 5 adult children (including Becca who has already received her promotion to heaven) and are blessed with a growing legacy of grandchildren.

Because there are many who have experienced child loss in various ways including miscarriage, sudden death syndrome in infants, accidents, etc, I invited Laura to come and speak to a luncheon—gathering of clients on this issue. It was well received, fostered questions/discussion, and spoke to people’s hearts. Laura speaks from the heart, speaks heart to heart, she very genuine.

Laura shared in word and song to a group of paraeavors (bereaved parents) at my church. She shared about her daughter, Becca, and the darkness of grief that engulfed her when Becca died. She spoke authentically from her heart as one who has walked the path we were walking. Her music touched our hearts. There were tears (healing tears), and even some moments of knowing laughter as we could relate to her experiences of how grief can affect us. As she spoke, she gave us "keys" (actually holding up a set of skeleton keys to illustrate her points) on connecting with God, drawing our hope from Him, and finding renewed purpose, a message so needed by many. Laura's ministry to pareavors is anointed and I highly recommend her as a speaker.

Laura is a dynamic speaker on a subject she lives and breathes. I have had her as a guest speaker in one of our conferences and I was blown away by the depth and knowledge she possesses on a very delicate and sensitive subject.
