Growing up on the farm was simple and the norm for a Midwest kid. I left the farm after graduating to adventure in New York City, England, and Hartford, Conn, doing mission work. During college and after graduation, I traveled, sang, shared across the states, and did more missionary work. Each experience gave me insight into God, people, and how to bless others. Fast forward to marriage, farming, kids, writing books, teaching, adventuring into the unknowns of life, the simple things God has used to reinforce in my heart that blessing others is simply passing on what he has blessed me with. My speaking engagements with others are encouraging moments of humor, Bible, experiences and life stories; encouraging others to live like Jesus and love others and expect a few bumps and hills along the way.
I have written over 13 books, helped many authors get their books into print form, and recently started a mentoring ministry called Arm & Arm Mentoring. The book is now ready to go, and it includes a mentoring 8-week guide in the back to help women begin to mentor with a plan and a purpose.
Currently, I lead the Dodge County Cowboy Ministry, which meets the second Sunday night of the month in Kasson, MN, plus lead worship and teach music at Ironwood Christian Ranch and teach several Bible studies while working with other ministries to love people, touch hearts, and encourage women to be who God created them to be.
