More About Patricia Cameron

Patricia Cameron is an author, speaker, Bible Study leader and writer who shares her testimony, stories, and Scripture to lead you from searching for hope into feeling loved, encouraged, inspired, and full of faith-driven joy.

=====

Raised among the cypress trees and bayous of the Louisiana Delta, Patricia Cameron learned early on to cherish God and family.

She is an author, speaker, Bible Study leader and writer for her Faith-Driven Joy blog, also contributing to Just Between Us magazine, various podcasts and guest blogs. Patricia weaves personal stories and scripture to bring encouragement, hope and joy to your audience.

Losing her husband unexpectedly when he was 45 tested her faith, but God showed her she could find joy again. Her husband’s zest for life inspired Patricia to live her own, fully aware of God’s presence, power and purpose — and to encourage others to do the same. She shares her journey of finding joy again in her first book Grief Unwrapped: Discovering Joy in a Season of Sorrow.

Grateful for every opportunity to point people to Jesus, Patricia’s heart desires to see her life and words inspire others to live beyond their circumstances to a life of joy. That comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

Patricia had a 30+ year corporate and agency career in public relations, marketing, and management. She has the honor and joy of raising three sons, Connor, Garrett and Parker. Her daughter Ashlynn died at birth and is safe in the arms of Jesus.

Patricia Cameron was the Keynote Speaker for our Associational Women's Conference. As a speaker, Patricia is very professional, but she allows the Holy Spirit room to lead, guide, and move in what she is saying. She used a mixture of personal testimony and scripture teaching that was very relevant and encouraging. Patricia communicated often with me and was very considerate of my ideas and intentions for the conference. By the time it was over, I felt like we had been friends for years! She is a beautiful, godly woman, and I will not hesitate to call her for future events. Thank you, Patricia, for your service to the Lord!

Patricia is an engaging speaker who connects with her audience by using her personal life stories to encourage and inspire. Our club was blessed by her message of hope and joy, in the face of life's inevitable sorrows. We found her relevant and relatable, and not afraid to be vulnerable, even when answering audience questions. From someone who is regularly organizing speakers, I can say Patricia was an all-around pleasure.
