Growing up in Norway, Lena's early life unfolded in a small coastal town above the Arctic Circle, far removed from the opportunities she would later encounter. In her early twenties, she made a life-changing decision to move to California on her own to pursue a creative career. This adventurous leap of faith was the first of many to follow.

Lena loved her new life in Los Angeles. She dabbled in acting and graduated from college with a B.A. in Theater. She later decided to learn marketing and build an online business. 

Lena quickly found success as an Internet marketer. She created marketing courses, received multiple sales awards, spoke at conferences nationwide, and became the top female marketer with the direct sales company she represented. Yet she felt something was missing. 

Soon after, when sudden changes within the company caused it to dissolve, Lena lost her business and income sources practically overnight. She then sensed God was calling her to instead embrace a life of Christian service, teaching, and ministry. This transition marked the beginning of her work as a Christian speaker and writer dedicated to helping women break free from self-imposed limitations, find clarity in their purpose, and live a spiritually abundant life.

Lena's life has, in many different ways, been a testament to resilience and the power of faith. During the COVID-19 lockdown in the spring of 2020, she navigated the enormous challenges of a pandemic wedding and began a new chapter as a wife and stepmother. 

Her resolve was put to the test once again the following year when one of her three stepsons, who has severe autism, developed a debilitating swallowing disorder. After the young man's life was narrowly saved by doctors, Lena and her husband quit their jobs to work around the clock to rehabilitate him at home — a courageous effort that more than a year later ended in the full recovery of Lena's stepson.

Today, Lena will tell you that her personal challenges have only strengthened her commitment to helping others persevere through adversity. As a Christian speaker and creator of a popular inspirational blog, she shares spiritual insights that encourage women to see problems as stepping stones. She equips her audience with tools to overcome fear, embrace their callings, and fully trust God's plan. Her upcoming book, which will be released in 2025, will delve even deeper into her journey and the lessons she has learned.

Another passion of Lena's is local ministry. She is the Director of Evangelism Outreach at her church in Downey, California, where she leads a tremendously fruitful local outreach program that she helped create and launch. She teaches in-person classes in evangelism and is also part of a prison ministry that regularly travels to maximum-security prisons in Mexico to share God's transforming love with the inmates and guards.

The many shifts and twists Lena has experienced give her a unique perspective. Her story inspires others by showing that educated risks, strong faith, and persistence will get you places. She emphasizes the importance of surrendering to life's unexpected turns, trusting that even the most difficult detours have a purpose.
