=====
Angie is an inspirational Christian speaker who helps save lives physically and spiritually. She is not only an inspirational Christian speaker and teacher, she is also the founder of the Obstacle Course Ministry, where she and her husband teach people to grow closer to God through horsemanship. Growing up in rural North Dakota, she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1987, becoming an RN. In 2001, she earned a Master’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia. In her 20s, Angie faced a devastating crisis that caused her to walk away from Christ for 30 years, leaving a God-sized hole in her heart. She tried filling that empty hole in her heart with new-age spirituality, career achievements, and a love for dogs, horses, husbands, and food!! Finally, after her third husband was killed in a horseback riding accident in 2014, she was in enough pain to admit that she could not manage her own life and was open to God pursuing her, saving her, and inviting her to follow Him.
In 2016, she let Jesus back into her life, and He more than filled that hole. God transformed her life so much that she answered His call to ministry to teach people how to overcome life's obstacles through Christ. She went to seminary to prepare for this ministry, earning a Master of Divinity degree. In addition to The Obstacle Course, she has served as a prayer team leader, started a grief ministry at her church, now leads Bible studies, teaches prayer seminars, and has joined the Grace and Grit Women’s Ministry team. This ministry team has recently launched a new ministry campaign called Just Show Up, in which she and her three ministry partners encourage women to show up for God, themselves, their marriages and families, their work, and their own life ministries.
In addition to her love for ministry, she is passionate about horses and enjoys papercrafts. Angie and her husband Mike live on 65 acres in central Texas, where they have nine horses, three cows, five dogs, two donkeys, and two cats. She still practices anesthesia and has three bonus kids and two bonus grandchildren. Angie invites you to lean in as she shares the amazing ways God has changed her life and how He can change your life, too.
