As a credit to her legacy, Lynnette Appling is the former founding Co-Pastor of New Wine International Fellowship Church. The New Wine International Fellowship Church was a multi-cultural church that focused on educating and encouraging people to discover the goodness within themselves.

She was the Visionary and founder of Ladies Night Out International, Inc. for over 17 years. From 1999 to 2017, LNO was a global women’s 501c3 organization that brought corporate and community resources to women in need. This organization had invested millions of dollars into the Stark County Region through outreach and with the help of corporate sponsors and private funding. Through the outreach of LNO, countless women received jobs, became financially equipped, and received scholarships, housing items, and essential products. Ladies Night Out International traveled through Ohio, hosting conferences in various cities. It has been a staple and template for many nationwide women’s ministries.

Because of her work in the community, she was asked to sit on numerous boards, such as the NFL Football Hall of Fame, YWCA, OSHA (Stark County), and the COVID-19 National HR Task Force for the National Human Resources Association. She has collaborated and advocated for women with Malone University, Stark State Kent, Schottenstein’s, Value City, Habitat for Humanity, PNC, Aultman Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Home Depot, Walmart, and Bob Evans, to name a few.

Lynnette Appling continued with her mission to help women by establishing a successful, prominent ghostwriting and publishing company, which had been in existence for over twenty years. LR ELITE BOOK PUBLISHING & GHOSTWRITING SERVICES helped women discover and publish their writings. Lynnette has helped women write, ghostwritten, and/or published several books for prominent women around the world.

As a tribute to Lynnette’s contribution to the State of Ohio, Lynnette has been rewarded through a mural of her work in the Circleville Ohio County Library for Black History Month as one of the “Most Influential Women of Color”.
