Carla McDougal founded Reflective Life Ministries in 2008. Her true passion is her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It humbles her to realize His love, grace, and mercy go beyond her understanding. She truly believes laughter is medicine from the Lord that breaks down walls and removes the masks in our lives. As a result, God has taken her around the world to encourage others to live every day for Him. Her book, My Prayer Chair, won multiple awards in 2013 and is now available in Spanish and Audiobook. Her latest book, Sold Out – Live for Jesus, released in September 2015. Carla is the Executive Producer for Reflective Media Productions. Currently, they are working on their third movie – STRONGER Hope for the Broken. Victory for the Wounded. She smiles to think of the experiences God has allowed in her life to teach and remind her “He is in control.” Carla and her husband, Fred, live in the Houston, Texas area and have three sons, one daughter, and two daughters-in-love.

Carla was our speaker for our ladies retreat weekend. There was no doubt that God perfectly timed it for her to be able to join us at that time. Carla is Spirit-filled and her teaching is Spirit-led. She comforts you with God's loving care while challenging you to a closer walk with Him, all with her infectious humor, warmth, and love. Carla is transparent and real, and her love of the Lord is apparent in all she does and says. I would recommend without hesitation or reservation Carla as a speaker. Our ladies always look forward to having her back; she's family!

We had Fred and Carla present our church with a marriage conference. The experience was very uplifting and the biblical content on marriage was excellent.
