Helma is a native Texan, born and raised in Grapeland, Texas.
She is on staff at Christ Chapel Baptist Church in Midway, Texas as Administrator, Worship Leader and Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She has served in various ministry roles since 1998, having served in full time vocational ministry at Ravencrest Chalet Bible School in Estes Park, Colorado; Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming; The Evangelical Free Church (Cornerstone Church) in Los Banos, CA and currently part-time at Christ Chapel Baptist Church in Midway, TX.
Helma is a graduate of Calvary University with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management and of Frontier School of the Bible with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies / Missions.
Helma loves God's Word and loves people! The greatest joy in her life is sharing her story as a child of God, sharing God's Word with women, and encouraging women to live lives devoted to HIM!
One of Helma's all time favorite scriptures is 2 Chronicles 16:9 "The eyes of the Lord move to and fro througout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His."
God not only wants to support us, He is constantly on the lookout to give that support! What an awesome God He is! Is your heart completely His? There is no greater life on this earth than one that is completely given over to God Himself!

Helma spoke at our ‘Sister 2 Sister’ women’s ministry event and did a superb job! I have known Helma for many years and have personally observed her devotion to the God and her obedience to His call on her life.

I met Helma in 2008 when she came to the Evangelical Free Church of Los Banos to work in our Women’s Ministry. Our small church was the beneficiary of her many spiritual and personal gifts, which she shared tirelessly and generously. We were all very sad when she returned to Texas. The model of godly living she set for all of us lives on.

I have known Helma Hallmark for over 20 years and have had the privilege of serving with her in ministry. I have witnessed first-hand her sincere love for God and others. Helma is passionate about communicating the Word of God and has a great grasp of the Holy Scriptures. Her deep desire to know God and make Him known are clearly seen in her ministry. She is a woman of integrity and inspires others to serve our Lord well in all aspects of their lives. Helma has high standards that are based on God's word and expects excellence from herself and others.
