Social Media Marketing Strategies for Your Christian Women's Event

Social Media Marketing Strategies for Your Christian Women's Event

Did you know that 73.5% of event planners rely on social media for marketing their events? Your Social Media Marketing Strategy is the key to promoting your next Christian Women's Event.

Social Media Marketing Strategy for Your Christian Women's Event Also interesting, according to www.EventManagerBlog.com, 28% of event marketers spend less than $200 on social media for an average event and 26% spend nothing.

As you can see from the graph, you can't rely on only one marketing vehicle, but among the most effective is your social media marketing strategy.

The key to keep in mind with social media sharing is engagement.
Engagement involves paying attention to, and, specifically, giving public acknowledgement for, any responses you get after you create and share a post.

And, don't just publish links to register all the time. Get creative and post "shareable" content that increases the likelihood of attendees inviting their friends.

Consider posting registration invitation posts only 1:4 over other types of posts.  ie - Publish something about confirming the venue on Monday, with an image of the auditorium (or coffee area). On Tuesday, share a beautiful image with a quote from one of the keynote speakers. Wednesday might be an interactive quiz. Finally on Thursday (the 4th post), share something directly inviting people to attend. This would be a 4:1 ratio.

Suggestions for the "non-pitchy" types of posts to share include:

  • Poster image
  • Any type of interactive question including yes/no, this or that, favorite ____, etc.
  • Short quotes from any of the speakers, event organizers or even the Bible.
  • Infographics about the benefits of attending.
  • A survey.
  • An interview with one of the speakers (or all of them, posted one per week).
  • Testimonials from past attendees.

The key is to promote your event once a day PLUS take time to respond with a like, comment and share for any responses.
