Mary James is a Wife, Mother, Christian Music Artist, Speaker, Writer, and President of Mary James Ministries; a non-profit organization who serves to share the life-giving, transformative message of the Gospel. Using Music, Testimony, Teaching, and Christian Resources their mission is to ignite and strengthen people's faith, provide biblical encouragement, and help individuals develop an unwavering relationship with Jesus.
From a childhood riddled with abandonment and years of self-destructive choices, at the age of 34 Mary ran headlong into the restorative love of Jesus, changing her life forever. Today she is recognized as a 6-time Inspirational Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year and has garnered twenty number one singles in the Christian Country genre. Throughout the course of her ministry life, Mary has been called to serve at events with speakers such as Sheila Walsh, Bob Goff, Kay Arthur, Dr. David Jeremiah, Greg Laurie, Ruth Graham, and many others.
Desiring to stir souls toward Jesus, Mary offers an experience that resonates deeply, tears down walls, and is one God has faithfully used to enact profound life changes.
Mary is from Murrieta, California, where she lives with her husband, Dan. Together they have five children and eight grandchildren.
