Deborah (Debby) Pool is owner and founder of Nutrition Concepts, Inc., a nutrition education and wellness coaching firm located in Peoria, AZ that was incorporated in 2005.
After earning her BBA degree at the University of Michigan, Debby held several Fortune 500 corporate executive management positions. After losing her mother to cancer in 1998 she was motivated to learn more about the relationship between nutrition and disease. Her passion led her to pursue and obtain a M.S. in Holistic Nutrition
degree in 2007. Debby holds a Masters of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition and is a Certified Wellness Coach. Her specialty is children’s and family nutrition and sports nutrition for young athletes. She dreams of a world of healthy and happy people, where cancer and other diseases are rare and where schools offer healthy foods that help kids learn, focus, perform better and stay healthy for life. Through wellness coaching and nutrition education seminars, she is dedicated to improving the health of children and families across America.
She has extensive experience in working with adults, children and children’s obesity programs and was a featured speaker at the Arizona State University Crossroads of Childhood child development conference in 2007. In addition to holding an MS degree in Holistic Nutrition, Debby is an active member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and National Association of Sports Nutrition. She was featured on the Sonoran Living Live show in Phoenix in March 2010 where she shared nutrition tips for raising a healthy child.
