Betty’s Bio
Betty Campbell is a former business and fashion writer, fashion editor and contributing editor, as well as a successful entrepreneur. She is the author of My Journey In His Hands, and Symbiotic Business, Now Nonprofits and For-Profits can Change The World Together. Betty also serves as the executive director for Xpose Hope, and as a consultant on corporate philanthropy and nonprofit community connection.
My Journey In His Hands details Betty’s life including the loss of her mother, the domestic abuse she endured, and her time in the sex industry, and learning to walk again after a horrific accident where she was hit by a truck while riding her bicycle.
Her time in the sex industry eventually led her to found a ministry, so she serves as the executive director of Xpose Hope, a nonprofit that reaches trafficked persons and those in adult entertainment with services, mentoring and connections to housing, addictions programs, counseling, resume services and more. Xpose Hope is currently operating in four states.
Xpose Hope reaches into the community by running the All About City sites, where community members and businesses may connect, and create relationship. The nonprofit also hosts a complementary networking group called All About Business Network and a pod/vodcast called “Talking Business.” She consults with businesses to help focus their giving and get more for their donations.
Betty's message is that there is always hope. The journey may be difficult, but God will walk beside you!
