My name is Pastor (Dr.) Shari Bowen. I am a military officer. Growing up in ministry, many years ago I was asked, "Am I an Elder who is a Captain, or a Captain who is an Elder? It took some time for me to understand my identity and to figure out how to be secure in who God called to be, and to live it daily. I am a mother of 6 children, a wife of one husband. Randy and I both served in the U.S. Army, and in the Army of the Lord. We have experience with blended families, raising productive citizens, attaining education, running an international ministry together and enjoying living a Chrisitan life God can be pleased with. I gave my life to the Lord in 1998, and realized shortly after, that I built a relationship with the church and its traditions and failed to get as close in my relationship with God as I did with the church. A divorce and difficult times in life led me to this point. It did not take long to realize God had his hands on me, even when I did not know. In ministry I lead worship and exaltation, women's ministries, teach leadership workshops to church leaders internationally, teach marriage seminars, mentor youth, and do all that I can so the light of the Lord can be seen through me everywhere I go.
