She is originally from Ottumwa, Iowa, but has lived most of her life in Arizona, where she graduated from Tempe High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Arizona State University. Ms. Carson is the author of "Chosen: Living Your Purpose in Life," which explains the Law of Attraction from a Christian perspective.
