My name is Crystal Stidham. I'm a wife, mom of 4, with 2 Golden Doodles. My oldest child just went off to college. Like many of us, I’ve joyfully allowed my family to define me for years, but I knew there was more to me than being a mom.

I was unhappy in my career
I had more free time
I was looking for something that would make me happy
I was seeking purpose and meaning in my life beyond motherhood
I was wondering...what's next?

My dad was my inspiration. I watched my dad struggle for years with lost dreams and a career he despised. He was searching for happiness as he adjusted to the changes that mid-life naturally brings. Instead of finding purpose, meaning, and following his heart...he turned to alcohol, and he relapsed after 13 years of sobriety. He eventually lost his life at 52 years young.

I always encouraged him to share his story. I strongly believed in him, and knew that he could have an enormous impact on other people. Instead, the baton was passed to me after he passed away. It became my mission to share his story. His story became my story. I just wasn't quite sure how...

It took me 10 years to figure out how to do it, but I kept following my heart, listening to that small inner voice, and trusting God as he led me on a wild journey...and then I found life coaching, eventually podcasting, and now speaking.

My dad unknowingly gifted me a treasure...his notebook. what I found inside the notebook after he passed away was astounding, heart breaking. It drives my message, and it's why I do what I do. I couldn't make this incredible story up if I tried. What a gift!!!

Our life is one big story...filled with chapters upon chapters that have lessons, adversity, drama, conflict, setbacks, triumph, comebacks, and victories. I help women to write their stories...one chapter, one blank page at a time. I help them to know the reasons why they are here. This is my purpose!
