Tammy Kennington is a writer, speaker, educator, and child abuse prevention advocate. Familiar with the impact of trauma, mental illness, and parenting in the hard places, Tammy's presentations leads women toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship with the God who loves them.
She also speaks to churches, organizations and schools about recognizing and helping children through trauma, supporting resilience, and understanding dyslexia.
Her newest publication, Moving From Pain to Peace: A Journey Toward Hope was rated a #1 Best Seller on Amazon following it's release. Tammy has also authored five children's nonfiction books and her work has been featured by Thriving Family, The Upper Room, Light from the Word, Arise Daily and several other publications.
Tammy treasures her husband of 26 years and their four children. Books and cute shoes tend to be her weakness.

I just want to thank you for being such a gracious and helpful guest on our show last Monday. After the show, a few more sisters privately called me to let me know they too had been abused and how helpful the show was to them, just letting them know they were not alone helped with managing their thoughts about it.

Tammy had 100+ senior ladies hanging on her every word. She had a riveting story to tell, and her presentation of the Gospel was clear and precise. She was a pleasure to work with and the ladies all LOVED her.
