I grew up in central Iowa, a small town girl with big plans...but God had something different in mind.
I dreamed of being a singer just like Dolly or Reba, but as a back-up plan, I went to college in Missouri for a degree in Fashion/Decorationg and Vocal Music. Shortly after my freshmen year of college, in pursit of my dreams, I began singing full time in country music/variety bands and traveled througout the central US and Canada.
In 1996 I found my future husband, Steve, as he danced by the stage where I was singing. From that moment, I knew I wanted to spend the rest my life with him. After coming off the road, I settled down near the Fargo/Moorhead area in Minnesota where Steve had just begun his career in Law Enforcement. We had our first son, Tyler, in 2000 and our twins, Shane & Kaitlyn, in 2003.
I became a stay-at-home mom and rededicated my life to Christ through a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Bible Study.
As I commited to fully following Jesus, my love for singing become a ministry. Then I developed a passion to lead others, especially women, to know the Savior as well.
Fashion has become another pathway that I use to connect with women. I enjoy helping them discover their own style of beautiful from the inside out.
When I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2009, another pathway of ministry opened. The process of learning to live with a chronic disease has taught me so much, like how God works through crisis, the value of good relationships and when to say no.
I am so grateful for what I have learned through this life I never planned for. So, now my plan is to follow Jesus wherever He calls me. John 10:27

She is humble and authentic and also radiates the love of Christ thru her beautiful smile, words and actions. She has a passion for reaching women to know Christ thru speaking and music. I appreciate her heart for family, friends and the community.
