Deacon Lawton has been a Christian since 1988 and was baptized at the Lexington Church of Christ by Don and Shelia Murray. She shared this change in her life with the members of the Worcester Square House Church, a time the Deacon says she will never forget. Now she is a an Ordained Deacon and Ordained Women's Ministry Leader.
She lives a simple life advocating for Awareness of Mental Health and Bipolar Disorder Type II, which she suffers from. Her life-long struggle to control and maintain this affliction has been the bain of her existance and has helped her live a controlled life.

"I have known Tanya for 8 years and she has always been very into God. She's even helped pull me out of some tough and hard situations in my life. She introduced me to Christ and stll sits me down to read the Bible. She motivates people like she did me and she really knows how to. Thank you."

"I am writing this note to recommend to you my sister in Christ, Tanya Partin Lawton. I have known Tanya for abut two years, since she became a member of our congregation. I serve as on of the elders of the Fall River Church of Christ in Fall River, MA, so I have opportunity to get to know may of our members on a one-to-one basis. One of the first things that strike you about Tanya is that this sister really loves the Lord. Her enthusiasm for Jesus and for helping people know Him is both obvious and contagious. Tanya is a real ""people-person!"" People feel comfortable with her and she makes friends easily. Tanya is a very positive person with a big faith that God is good and that He is always working in our lives. She is always eager to give god the glory and to praise Him. Tanya really has the heart of a servant; she's always willing to help out in whatever way she can. She just wants God to use her to help other people.........
