Shonah Marie has always been creative-minded, dabbling in every craft and art known to man, but ultimately longed to tackle the holy grail of creative endeavours, writing a book. It wasn't until Shonah went through an experience beyond her capabilities where she sat down to process her own story through writing. Shonah's book ''Steady in the Storm'' was birthed out of a desire to navigate her innocent and sheltered christian upbringing, and how that factored into her lack of experience around addiction and complete reliance on God to get her through her husbands relapse with alcohol. Realizing she cannot be alone in her experiences, Shonah decided to publish her book in her biggest leap of vulnerability, sharing her story with others who feel up against the ropes, ready to abandon their faith over hopeless addiction or other situations causing an uncontrollable storm in their life. Shonah desires to inspire others to hold the faith in dark storms, reminding them that their hope is found in places beyond themselves.
Reaching deep into her relationship with Christ, Shonah walks you through the gift of grace, the grit of gratitude and the lavishness of the goodness of God that got her through the storm.
