Growing up in SE Texas, I was often mocked and considered eccentric for my highly creative imagination. Though I wrote my 1st book and took my 1st Theater class at age 16, and was highly encouraged by my Teachers- my family did everything they could to squash my dreams and told me to look for something more "practical" to do. So I took the road most traveled until my early forties. A heart willing to step out of their comfort zone however to pursue God will eventually be able to grab His Hand and His Heart so that He truly can lead. So at the age of 42, He opened the doors for me to enter the Film Industry. Now an Award Winning Filmmaker and Scriptwriter- and free from obligations and bondages of the past- I am walking a new journey, the one I was supposed to have walked all along...and I am seeing God move in super amazing ways!
