More About Jeanne Brooks

Jeanne Brooks has her PhD in Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She spent much of her adult life in Nacogdoches, Tx. She had a private practice, in a Christian Counseling Center, for almost 20 years. God blessed her with an incredible family and a simple but busy life. However, on November 30, 2007, God called her best friend and husband home. God showed her in those first few days of shock that, in fact, His grace is sufficient and He carried her through the most difficult challenge of her life. In this journey, He brought her from the security of all she knew in the way of home, career, and family, to a new glorious place...Lynchburg, Va. Her new career as a professor at Liberty University, and her new life in Lynchburg, has become another testament to God's ability to heal the broken hearted and to restore that which the locust destroyed. She has since met and married a widower who lost his wife around the same time that her husband died. God has given her a completely new life, making beauty from the ashes. In addition, both her girls met and married their soul mates in Virginia. She now is proud to say she has 2 daughters, 2 lovely step-daughters, an awesome step-son, a daughter-in-law, 3 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and three sons-in-law. She knows God is the God that gives and takes away, and she can trust Him in it all. Her prayers for others is that they can learn to face life's many challenges with a peace that surpasses all understanding, and find joy in knowing God loves them. He is in control and He has our back. He never, ever forsakes us!

She published her first book, Washed Clean and Virtuous, and first bible study, Washed Clean and Walking by Faith, in 2015. Jeanne has a real passion to reaching out to women and helping those caught in human sex trafficking. Since then she has published four more books and has traveled the globe speaking about crisis and trauma care and how it aaffects the witness of Christ followers.
