Romans 12:2 is my life verse. Since my own salvation experience in 1980, I have been dedicated to being transformed into the woman God intends for me to become. The journey has been amazing, but transformation doesn't come without the hard work of reflecting on the way we think and why we think and behave the way we do and what there is about how we think that holds us back from experiencing God's very best for us. I can honestly say that I experience the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) on a consistent basis. My goal is to see other women experience that as well by learning to think differently about what it really means to be in Christ, to be a child of the King, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
With humor, compassion, and bold honesty, I engage others in conversations about life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:3-4 tells us: "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire" (ESV).
If you are seeking more in your walk with God, let me help you transform your life by renewing your mind. Without transformation, we are doomed to be conformed to this world but that is not what God intends for us.
Professionally, I would say I am a life-long educator, although recently retired from serving as a dissertation chair online for the University of New England and Grand Canyon University doctoral programs. I am also a self-employed higher education consultant.
As a lifelong educator I have a passion for developing people to be the best they can be. In addition to offering faith-based programs, I design and deliver professional development workshops for local businesses on a variety of general business topics.
In my local church, I lead weekly bible studies for women. I am a mother of 2 grown sons and grandmother of 5 very special grandchildren. My husband and I have been married for over 32 years and live on a 35 acre farm in Western Maine.
