Vanessa Gilbert is a speaker, trainer and podcaster who shares interaction and personal stories to help women move beyond basic tithing, toward personalized business building, focusing on passive income investments.

After 25 years in corporate America, the last 14 in sales management, Vanessa Gilbert was downsized and needed to make a decision as to what to do next. "I had to do an assessment and decide what I wanted to do in the next chapter of my life," she said. "Insurance, investing and financial literacy education is what I found. For the last three years, I have been working in those fields, educating people on insurance and educating on financial literacy."
Ms. Gilbert also provides legal services to people as a Consultant with LegalShield, and continues to use the skills she had honed during her previous career in sales and management, including communication and project management. "Having excellent sales skills is crucial in order to sell or make suggestions as to the best products for clients," she said. "Being proactive and organized are also key skills I use to stay on track and on schedule with projects. Additionally, I excel at coaching, training and leadership, and recruiting new team members as I have always had to lead and train teams to make sure goals were met."
Like many people this past year, Ms. Gilbert's business suffered but she has persevered. "Since the beginning of the pandemic, having to rebuild my client base has been challenging," she said. "However, finding my love of teaching and specializing in crypto currency education has been the most rewarding aspect of this new business venture."
As for the future, Ms. Gilbert plans to complete and publish her first book. She will continue to grow and obtain sponsors for her weekly chat show/podcast where she interviews business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
