TEA Time = Testifiying, Edifying and Affirming women with the Word.
I came to know the Lord at the age of 12 when I repented after I recognized I was a sinner and Christ died for my redemption. At 14, I felt a deep prompting from the Holy Spirit to be in ministry. I was a very shy girl, yet at that point, the Holy Spirit gave me the boldness to speak to others about the gospel. I would go by myself to our local hospital, and with a bible in hand, I would go from room to room asking the patients if they wanted me to pray for them and read a scripture. I met and married my husband, who was called to be a pastor, and for 36 years, we ministered together. I taught children and adult women, and we evangelized on the streets frequently. God put a desire in my heart for His daughters and has called me to Testify of His goodness, edify His daughters, and affirm them in the word. I speak at local conferences whenever I am called, and I minister in my church, mentoring women and hosting women's events. In 2007, God called me to prayer walking ministry, and I teach and train women to go into the streets bearing the word of God on their lips and petition heaven on behalf of their communities.
I am a mother of 6, homeschooled, and a grandmother of 10. I am a widow as of 2020. In 2013, My husband had open heart surgery, and in 2014, on Christmas Eve, he had brain aneurysm surgery; 3 days later, while in the hospital fighting for his life, our place of residence burned down, we lost everything, and we had no insurance. Within a week, God replaced far beyond what we had lost. He came home and recuperated for 3 months and then suffered a heart attack and had emergency double bypass surgery. A week later, while in the hospital, he suffered a massive stroke. He spent the next 5 years in a nursing home facility. God worked wonders in me during those years, and through these trials, He worked in me to refine me to go forward in the mission he had for me.
