Growing up as a preacher's kid left me with two options, either be an angel or the devil. For a long time, I was the angel and then- well- I wasn't. I gave up on God's provision and took my life into my own hands. Making bad choices led to more bad choices and eventually a whole lot of wounds. Fortunately, that isn't the end of my story. I realized I only had one option left to get out of the chaos and back to peace. I had to kneel at the cross and become my own version of the prodigal daughter. At that moment love broke through and I was on the way to better life. My story is about scars and battle wounds and brokenness. All three pointing to a Father in heaven who is about love and is about redemption and an abundant life full of reflecting His glory to others.
