Barb, is a deeply devout Christian woman who has been called to teach and help others from her personal testimony. She has created a platform, book, and ministry which has both the power of biblical truths and real personal experience that enable a real successful outcome. She is a dynamic and engaging speaker who delivers content is a transparent and authentic way. I highly recommend her.
Barb spoke at our church's Women's Conference in the fall of 2024, and I had the utmost privilege of working closely with her as she prepared and spoke at our conference. It is easy to talk about her professionalism and punctuality from a speaker's standpoint, but what made Barb stand out was her passion for people, and her submission to being led by the Holy Spirit. I wanted to meet with her prior to the conference so I could get a better idea of what she would be sharing, to best promote the event to our congregation, and instead of going through her listings, she asked what we felt like God was trying to do in the hearts of the women at our church. It was such a breath of fresh air to have someone truly care about what God was doing, instead of focusing on what we would like to do. The day of the conference, she was in the lobby meeting our women, and offered prayer and wisdom to those who asked. I could not recommend Barb enough for your speaking engagements!

Barb is a gifted speaker! She is relevant and relatable in a way that is refreshing to all. Our ladies were so blessed by how she allowed the Lord to speak through her at our Women’s Conference! Â

Asking Barb to be our Women's Retreat speaker was one of the best decisions we made! Barb is very personable and fit right in with our group. She is friendly and welcoming.
It was clearly evident that Barb is a seasoned speaker. She is on point and articulate. The examples that Barb used to illustrate her points were appropriate and relatable.
I found Barb quite pleasant with whom to work. She met and exceeded our expectations! Many women stated that she was the best speaker we had ever had and I agree with them! In many years of Women's Retreats we have never repeated a speaker, but Barb was so outstanding that there is a good chance we will ask her to return and share with us again sometime.

What a blessing it was to have Barb be a part of our women's retreat! Â She was our main speaker but from the moment she walked into our lodge she immediately became a part of "us"! Â She spent time mingling before the conference began and got to know the women of our church on a personal level. Â So by the time she began to speak we all felt like she was "one of us"! Â Her energy and passion was so contagious and her love for the Lord so apparent. Â The message of Shine Boldly was just what our ladies needed to begin a new season of walking with the Lord. Â What more can I say....Barb was everything and more than we expected!!

Barb was the keynote speaker for our first ladies conference this year! We worked together for months prior to drill down on topics, presentation and organization. She brought unique insight, ideas and experience to the table (most of which we utilized). She was very accessible when we needed guidance and forethought. We couldn’t have done it without her! She was dynamic in the planning stages and in her presentation, really giving attention to the message we wanted to convey. With her insight, wisdom and experience, she helped us to create the environment and message we were intent on communicating. Would recommend 10 out of 10 if you are considering working with her! Her message was powerful and timely! If you are looking for someone to help guide you through a first time process or just need someone who brings an effective and compelling biblical message, this is your gal! Barb is an outstanding communicator that leads from a place of vulnerability and honesty. She communicates in a way that resonates with women in a variety of settings, backgrounds, and life experiences. I have had the pleasure of hearing Barb Lownsbury speak on several occasions and every time I have been challenged, moved emotionally, and entertained. It's a rare combination to experience all of these traits in one speaker. When Barb speaks, you can tell that she has not only spent time preparing the content, she has spent time preparing with the Lord to deliver a message that is pertinent and challenging to her audience. Barb loves the Lord deeply and this love shines through in her words and her demeanor when she is sharing in front of groups. You will be blessed to have her speak at your event and, be careful, you might even find yourself being challenged in a way that brings you closer to Jesus.

Barb is an engaging and authentic speaker who will challenge her listeners to embrace not only the mountaintop experiences but also the moments in the valley, where we are invited to listen to God's voice and trust Him to accomplish His purposes in our lives when we might not be able to see past the pain. She's fun and funny, vulnerable and passionate. Barb is a living example of someone who offers God her whole life and shows what is possible when we live in faith, not in fear.

Barb Lownsbury spoke at the Hope Alive! Women's Gathering in June and the women loved her! Barb is very relatable and wove her story throughout the time she shared, engaging the audience with her passion for Jesus and His word. She hung around afterwards and prayed with many of the women, and everyone left feeling hopeful and connected to each other and God. Barb is comfortable speaking to any size group, and they would benefit from what she shares and walk away refreshed. She is spirit led and doesn't promote herself; she promotes Jesus and His powerful healing!
