We are created to reflect the glory of God and, since the main goal in seeking an identity outside of Christ is to bring glory to ourselves, we will never find lasting fulfillment apart from him."

Michelle was born and raised in Kentucky. She met Dale, the love of her life, at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio. After graduating with a Psychology and Christian Education degree, they married and started their adventure together. Dale chased his dream of becoming an audio engineer in Nashville while Michelle worked to support him. While Dale traveled worldwide, Michelle devoted herself to working with teen girls in her spare time. In 1998, they had two baby boys, and Dale felt a new calling in his heart, leading them to full-time youth ministry in Denver, Colorado.
In 2007, life took an unexpected turn when Dale was in an accident that almost took his life. This event led him and Michelle down rough roads, challenging everything they believed in. The next several years brought about painful experiences, yet their love for each other and faith in God remained strong. This experience brought them healing and a greater understanding of God's grace and love.
In June 2011, Michelle and her family moved to Corvallis, Oregon, to relaunch Life Community Church. They helped the struggling church heal while also finding healing themselves. After seven years of ministry in Corvallis, as their children were growing up and leaving home, they believed it was time for them to move on and assist another church.
Currently, Michelle serves alongside her husband, the Lead Pastor, in Woodland Park, Colorado. Together, they bring a new mission and passion to an older church while she attends grad school to obtain an MA in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling Licensure.
