Written in a lively rhyme, I Will Not Be Afraid addresses children's fears - such as the dark, storms, and current events - and explains that God is in full control as He promises to work good through all circumstances in the lives of His children. I Will Not Be Afraid does not describe a God who whisks away all difficult, frightening, or bad things. Rather it portrays our all-powerful, loving God who is faithful to us because of Jesus' sacrifice and forgiveness. Children learn that while bad things happen in our sinful world, God will always guide them and give them comfort...

Who is the Holy Spirit and what purpose does He fulfill in a person’s life? One of the passages of Scripture that our Heavenly Father gave me when He called me into ministry was Zechariah 4:6 which states, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” It has become the foundation of how I live my life. This book is a must read for people who desire to know and have the power of the Holy Spirit operating in their lives. It is not filled with fluff or imagination regarding God’s Spirit. The material in this book was first taught in one of our annual...

Love God. Love others. More and More. When we seek God, we know God, because He is love. Over the next 90 days, we’ll unveil love together. We’ll take a journey through Scripture to highlight what God says about love. We’ll explore how we distort it, and we’ll receive God’s encouragement to see love the way God intends. As we seek and yield, we’ll grow in our relationships with God and each other, because as God fills us with His love, we will overflow with it. He provides abundantly. Each day begins with the key Scripture and is followed by...

Submission: We’d rather avoid or abuse it than embrace it. Maybe we get it wrong. Submission has become one of those words (and concept) we’d rather avoid. It brings up stories and experiences of mistreatment, disrespect, and abuse of power. The concept has been hijacked by authority who have only their own interests in mind and want everyone else to do it “my way.” We live in a culture and time of applauding “my way”—unless it bumps into our own way. Or, we try to generalize what submission means, isolating Scripture to support our assumptions...

Emotions saturate Scripture. God is an emotional God—not in the same way we talk about an emotional woman or emotional person. But God is certainly aware of the runaway emotions we’re referring to when we put a negative spin on emotions. We can’t escape God’s presence. That means he sees and hears alongside us, including our (often messy) emotions. If we let him, God will replace those untruthful messages we’ve learned about emotions along the journey of life with the truthful messages reflecting his character, will, and commands. God didn’t mess up his design...

FOR THE BRAND-NEW CHRISTIAN Christmas Edition of the Grace Warrior Devotional Series. Seeing the Babe-in-a-manger piece haphazardly stuffed between the Ninja Turtle Cowabunga Christmas plaque and snow globe with Frosty in beachwear made me want to run and hide. How could anyone celebrate Christmas in the midst of the commercialized chaos? God reminded me that in the middle of the confusion are people; grieving, worried, and desperate ones seeking relief. What better time than Advent to share with them what the season represents – hope, peace, joy, and love? ...

FOR THE BRAND-NEW CHRISTIAN The second book in the Grace Warrior Devotional Series. Grace looked at the challenging list. Today she had to be wife, mother, daughter, and boss. Be caring, creative, and – she scribbled across the top of the page – be nice. She turned to the throne. “How can I successfully serve you with so much to do?” “Daughter,” he said. “I have told you the way. Remember the most important edict, and all will be well.” Grace Warrior bowed in obedience. She was at the King’s command. GRACE WARRIOR – At the King’s...
