More About Kristy Rowland

Kristy is wife to Bart, momma to two teenage girls, keeper of the family pet, and a daughter of THE King!  She is the NextGen Kids Director at First Baptist Church in Ocala, Fl and has been a part of women’s ministry for 10 years. She grew up in a small community in western Kentucky, however, in 2014, God orchestrated a huge move away from her family and friends to a new home in a new town in a new state! 

 In 2010, Kristy was given a 2% chance to live when she was diagnosed with a Mycotic Brain Aneurysm.  Following a 14 hour surgery, a month in a hospital bed, and 2 months of at home PICC line meds, her heart and mind were  confident in the fact that God had a purpose for her. She began speaking to groups and became one of the leaders of Glory Quest, a weekend retreat for ladies.  God has taken her testimony and teachings from  Kentucky to Florida and even to women in a  tiny village in Uganda, Africa where she did mission work in 2012 and 2013.

Kristy has been known to share her testimony and teachings with congregations, at women’s events, or in the checkout line at Walmart or Target!  She believes that is why she was spared in 2010 and she hopes to glorify God by speaking that life into others.
