Jessica Cross was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and at the young age of 17 years old, she had her first child. Cross wanted more for herself and as a single teenage parent; knew she had to do something because now she had a baby depended on her. She went to college and earned an Associates Degree. Soon thereafter moved to Atlanta, Georgia and met the love of her life who is now her husband of 14 years. Cross went on to obtain 3 more college degrees and started working in the school system as a Special Education Teacher and was working on another degree when you became pregnant and birth a daughter.
In her early 30’s, she had the family, the career, and 4 college degrees; sadly Cross had a stroke, leaving her hospitalized for months, paralyzed on the right side of her body, and not being able to work to help support my family. Two years later, still out of work, and going through the healing process, Cross began to write, as a result this amazing book Crossed Lines: What Lies Buried Within The Heart happened.
