Catherine Strecker is married toMonty Strecker, and has two sons, Jacob and Nicklaus, two daughters-in-law, Andrea and Laura, three daughters, Rachel, Rebecca, Joanna, and eleven grandchildren.
Catherine graduated from Barton CountyCommunity College with an AssociateDegree, in General Business; it was during this she worked at the Barton CountyClerk’s Office, in Great Bend, Kansas. Several years later she pursued a Bachelor ofScience Degree in Education from Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas. She taught elementary school for tenyears. During her teaching career at Riley Elementary, in Great Bend, Kansas, she pursued a Master of Science in Reading and English as a Second Language endorsement from Fort Hays State University.
Catherine continued her education receiving a Master of Science degree in Administration, NewmanUniversity, Wichita,Kansas. Catherine is an Educational Facilitator and presents to businesses, nurses, social workers, home health operators & administrators, school districts, churches, etc. throughout the State of Kansas. Presentations topics include: Life is An Attitude, Designed and Presents on numerous courses, such as, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, Crohn's, Depression, Stress, etc., Brain-based Learning, Learning Disorders, Multiple Intelligences, and Christian Motivational Speaking. She has also compiled notebooks for school districts, on Character Counts and New Teacher Handbook,and designed a brochure on ADHD, Dyslexia, and Depression.
