Hi there! I’m Lisa. A mom, and educator of 15 years, with experience teaching grades K-5, middle school English language arts, and 12th grade economics, and leading in charter schools, as a Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and Elementary Vice Principal.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge and a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from California State University, San Bernardino. I earned my Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University in 2017, my dissertation work surrounding Social Capital accrual through different modalities of beginning teacher mentorship in an induction program. I hold an Administrative Services Credential and certificates in online and blending teaching and teacher leadership. I've presented at the Hawaii International Conference of Education, the EdTech Summit, and the California Council for Teacher Education. I am also a speaker certified through HomeWord Ministries, providing training to families on topics such as:
