Have you ever felt that you couldn't come to God while you were still sinning? That perhaps you had to clean yourself up first? While at the same time, you know God already knows. I want to encourage you, that while you are still sinning, it is the time to run TO God, not away from Him, to be reminded of who you TRULY are. We will expand on the TRUTH of Christ in our weakness and sin.
Remember...
Romans 8:28-- But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:1-- Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 1:15-- Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
2 Corinthians 12:9-- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Romans 7:19-25-- For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature[a] a slave to the law of sin.
2 Corinthians 5:17-- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
