Through the imagery of a vessel being patiently and skillfully molded and shaped for it's intended use, Karen's message of enduring hope through hard seasons of adversity will encourage and strengthen women to persevere in the process of becoming a beautiful vessel, an offering for His Redeeming Purpose.
Karen speaks transparently about how the Lord used an agonizing "dry desert" season in her life that lasted for 1 1/2 years. She states, "It was the most hardest and loneliest time of my life. While it was brutal, it was also beautiful, because it was just the two of us; me and my Father. I humbly surrendered and completely depended on Him and He was faithful as The Bread of Life and Living Water to strengthen and sustain me. My faith became secure and anchored as I experienced the truth of "when He is all you have, you realize He is all you need!"
During that time, The Lord also used a powerful worship song that Karen often wept through as she sang, prayed and believed, "New Wine" by Hillsong. "In the crushing, in the pressing, You are making new wine. Make me Your vessel, Make me an offering, Make me whatever You want me to be; Jesus bring new wine out of me. For where there is new wine, There is new power, there is new freedom; I lay down my old flames to carry Your new fire today!" Karen testifies that right after coming out of this "dry desert" season, the Lord spoke and confirmed His new wine of "HIS Redeeming Purpose" speaking ministry to women!
Karen's hope and prayer is that the anointed message and promise of God's Word in 2 Corinthians 4:8-10: "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body" will challenge and mature their faith to overcome as vessels of new wine to influence and impact those around them for the Kingdom of God and His Glory!
