There's bitterness, anger, regret, grief and a myriad of other things that keep us from loving people; the way Jesus loves us.
When we carry these hurts, we begin to replay the bad memories over and over. We share our hurt with anyone who will listen. Sometimes, we withhold our love from the ones that really need it; because we are too busy nursing our own wounds.
Loving without limits really is a part of our nature, because we are made in His image. However, our flesh is at war with the Spirit; so loving without limits doesn't feel like it's within our reach.
