It just never gets old - the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. We love how Jesus reroutes His whole group and then sends His disciples into town so that He can have time with this woman. A woman with a sordid past. A woman with a broken heart and a shame story as long as her arm.
He would have done, and He does do, exactly the same for us.
We see this continually throughout the Bible, where God pursues His people. And when Jesus arrives on the scene, He is actively invested in the lives of those others have ignored or left behind.
