Let's be real! I am more concerned with helping your heart heal, than how your flesh feels!

Galatians 5:22-26 GNTD

[22] But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these. [24] And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires. [25] The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives. [26] We must not be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.

So as a saint of God we all have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us! (Romans 8:11)

God's spirit should naturally produces all of the above attributes of God in our lives.

How do we accomplish this?

If all of these holy characteristics do not naturally pour out of us, this is a warning sign that our hearts need healing and our minds need renewing.

What is hindering or keeping me from being a walking living breathing expression of Christ' character effortlessly.

Have you ever heard the expression that the grass is not greener on the other side, it's greener where you water it.

Water is essential for life. But not just any water is life giving, long term.

Jesus said if you drink from the water that I give, you will never thirst again. (John 4:14)

The key is the source of the supply. If your source is yourself and your heart is sick, then your supply is gonna run dry, very quickly your going to be on E and running on fumes of an empty self is a recipe for disaster.

What part of your sinful human nature do you still need to put to death. What passions and desires you need to start ruling over instead of the other way around. (Galatians 2:20)

Complete and continual surrender to God's will over your own is where you will find your freedom in Christ!

(John 3:30)

Opposite of love- hate - self hatred

Joy- depression

Peace- anxiety- OCD

Patience- control freak

Kindness- selfishness

Goodness- evil, bad intent

Faithfulness - idolatry

Humility- pride

Self- controlled- flesh controlled

Emotions dictate choices

Our authority is in Jesus's authority. Acting independently of Him we can accomplish nothing, for it is in Him alone that we live, and act and be. (Acts 17:28)

Without knowing Jesus it is impossible to go with the flow and not be worried about where that flow is taking you because it is Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life. (John 14:6)

God is not the author of confusion. (1 Corinthians 14:33)

That's the enemy's job. He loves to get us questioning God's good plans for us because we don't understand whatever current difficult situation we find ourselves in. But understanding is not our job. Trusting God is.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart , lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge me and I will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

When you know Jesus then you know who you are and that you belong to Him. So it doesn't matter where He leads me because my life is secure in Him and  He promises me that His plans are for my life is for my good and not to harm me. His desire is to set me up for spiritual success. (Jeremiah 29:11)

When our focus has shifted from our problem solver (God Almighty) onto our problems, then we have forgotten who we are in Christ and the power of our position, our authority, and our purpose in Him.

Declaration: I am not a woman of the world. I am a woman of the word and only my creator can define me!
