For over a decade I've been volunteering at Community House Damaris, a safe house/recovery program for women and their children in Athens, Greece, where we offer empowerment to survivors by offering Recovery, Restoration, and Reintegration. We are a Nonprofit, faith based NGO located in Athens, Greece, and we invite women to come and serve as part of a ministry team from churches throughout the US, Canada, and the UK. Our volunteers come to Athens to help our beneficiaries celebrate their growth and accomplishments through our Celebration Week missions service opportunities.
Mission trips are an incredible opportunity to step out in faith, learn new skills, and serve others in a meaningful way. They help us develop a global perspective, build deeper connections with God’s people around the world, and gain a renewed sense of purpose.
