More About Kym Carter

      Kym Carter is a dynamic and engaging speaker who has a passion for families and for God’s word.  She is motivated and inspired to use her gifts of speaking and encouraging by seeing how a relationship with Christ can heal a hurting person and by seeing families literally transformed by the power of God. 

 Through her solid biblical teaching, humor, and by transparently sharing stories from her own life, Kym encourages and inspires women to embrace who they are in Christ and who God has called them to be. Kym is President and Co-Founder of Legacy Moms,a non-profit ministry for moms that has reached over 2000 members  in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex .    Kym has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Pepperdine University, with a minor in sociology emphasizing marriage, family dynamics and inter-personal relationships.  Kym worked as a television producer,writer and on-camera talent early in life, but then she found her “true calling”: being a mom!  She lives in the Dallas area with her husband Sam and have three grown children.  Kym and Sam have been married for 29+ years and have taught parenting classes, small groups, Bible studies and seminars for over 20 years at some of the largest churches in the DFW area. Kym is a popular speaker at women’s gatherings, retreats and ministries.  In addition to speaking to mothers, Kym speaks to women of all all ages on various topics and has spoken to many teen girls as well about topics that relate to living a Christian life as a young woman, and Kym and her husband are available to speak to couples on topics regarding marriage and parenting.
