Lori Stanley Roeleveld is a certified coach, author, speaker, and disturber of hobbits who enjoys making comfortable Christians late for dinner. She’s authored four non-fiction books including Running from a Crazy Man, Jesus and the Beanstalk, The Art of Hard Conversations: Biblical Tools for the Tough Talks that Matter, and Colorful Connections: 12 Questions that Open Healthy Conversations about Race (with Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith). Lori's next book is in the works. It's currently titled Lasting Impact and is a fresh look at the choices of women in the Bible. She's also the author of a Christmas novella, Red Pen Redemption.
Though she has degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies, Lori learned the most from studying her Bible in life’s trenches. Blogger. Ghostwriter. Freelance. Owner of Take Heart! Coaching and Freelance. Wife. Mother of adults. Omi in training. Part-time giant-slayer. Not available for children’s parties.
Lori speaks with natural humor, biblical-depth, authenticity, and relate-able transparency on a variety of biblical topics including the lasting impact of women, resilient hearts, hard conversations, spiritual growth, our extravagant God, persevering in the adventure of faith, and merciful hearts in a merciless world. She loves to help planners create the event they've dreamed would happen resulting in engaged participants and transformed lives.
Lori's books have been endorsed by Jerry B. Jenkins, Tosca Lee, James L. Rubart, Valerie Elliot Shephard, Lynn Blackburn, Edie Melson, Tammy Whitehurst, and Alton Gansky.
