Thanks to valuable training from the Professional Christian Coach Institute, I am working toward certification through CCNI (Christian Coaching Network International) where high standards of quality coaching are exemplified.

Much of my work experience has been in the administrative area. My bookkeeping, organization, and computer skills served me well. I started working with a Texas Instrument computer in the 80s, learned DOS, stepped into Windows when it was first released, and continued by learning all areas of Microsoft Office. I helped several companies convert to computer systems and taught a number of people who swore they would not get within 100 feet of a computer to use and actually enjoy the desktop computer.

As a health issue took me away from the corporate world, I renewed my interest in Knitting and Crochet. I had learned to knit when a young girl in 4H. A few years later my grandmother taught me to crochet.

I have taught many women to knit and crochet through a self-developed Knit and Crochet Bible Study at a local Church where I wrote and have now published the Knit and Crochet Bible Study Devotional Journal on Amazon.

I love to encourage others.  I will often use word pictures using simple strategies to share developmental points. Some include teddy bears, knitting, crochet, a plastic tiara - to name a few.

I have joined a local Toastmasters group and am now serving in club and district leadership while continuing to expand my leadership and speaking skills.
