Patty Sorrells is a speaker who serves as a change agent for God. Having served victims of crime, as well as women's ministry leaders, she walks women into freedom in Christ.

Patty holds a BA in Sociology from UNCG and a Master's (M.Ed.) in Counseling from Lenior-Rhyne University. Patty has 35 years of experience in the Victim Services field and served as an advocate, program coordinator, Execuive Director of a Non-Profit organization, and participated on management teams in the field. Patty also held memberships on state level committees with organizations that changed legislation for victim's rights. She was instrumental in co-founding and developing a training academy for Victim Practitioners as well as was an instructor for 5 years in North Carolina with NCVAN. As she was working in the mental health/pastoral counseling field, God changed her plans and directed her into women's ministry to directly, and on a larger, more encompassing capacity, provide need-felt services. Patty worked 15 years in the ministry as counselor, women's ministry director, women's conference events coordinator, and trained other leaders. Patty developed a program called The Well that continued for 13 years until COVID. The Well provided active teaching, facilitating and processing spiritual, mental, emotional and physical needs of women. Patty also developed an annual retreat, Spiritual Spa, that focused on spiritual transformation and provided the teaching and facilitation, as well as event activities.
Patty is a Life Coach and currently working on certification through The Institute of Life Coaching, the Christian Track.-
Just this May of 2023, Patty retired from the victim services field as Executive Director of Next Step Ministries, a non-profit domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking agency, to pursue her calling of writing a book that is in the works, resuming her work now called From The Well, retreats, and life coaching...helping women to navigate and overcome the things that entangle them and allowing Jesus to set them free!!!!
