We had Shannon speak at one of our events and really appreciated her vulnerability as she shared her own story of control. She was easy to relate to and I found myself challenge and encouraged by what she shared. It's clear Shannon loves God, has a deep relationship with Him and desires others to have that as well.

Shannon was a wonderful guest speaker at our 8th annual Devoted Christian Women’s Conference. She was authentic and sincere in her efforts to connect with the women who were in attendance. She was also engaging, dynamic, and her insight on the topic of control was relatable to everyone. Her love of Jesus, was evident in her message, as well as in her interactions with others. Shannon challenged us and inspired us to shift from Control Girls to Jesus Girls. We were blessed to have her join us and look forward to having her join us again sometime.Â

Shannon desires for women to find freedom in surrendering to Christ, not only for salvation but throughout the daily struggles we all face. Â She loves the Word of God and her teachings flow from that love. Â She takes the profound truths of Scripture and makes them applicable to her listeners in practical ways. God has gifted Shannon with a message that impacts women of all ages, whether new to faith or seasoned. She speaks with wisdom and humor, infusing Biblical characters with life that makes them relatable in new ways. She is passionate about caring for ladies and interacts with them, making each instantly feel like a new friend. When speaking, Shannon engages audiences whether large or small, leading them to make a step of faith. What is most impactful about Shannon's ministry is that she is led by the Spirit to meet the needs of each group uniquely.

Shannon is Biblically based and related well to the women! We saw practical application as well as added knowledge - a perfect fit for a camp retreat! She also interacted so well with the women, we didn't feel like she was "better than us" which we really appreciated!

Shannon came to KBC to do a mini-retreat as a follow-up to our Women's study of her book, "Comparison Girl." I loved Shannon's openness and honesty on the struggles that she and women face in our lives to try to live Me-free in this Measure-up world. Shannon did a great job of relating to a wide-range of ages (12-80). Our ladies were blessed to have Shannon share from God's Word how we can pour out our lives into others rather than focusing on the lines and seeing how we measure up.

I have had the privilege of hearing Shannon speak & interacting with her on 2 occasions, & both times, I have been blessed by her honest, loving way of communicating & sharing the love of Jesus - on & off stage alike! She is professional, but so relatable, and is a joy to work with on the details involved with preparations for her visit (as is her Ministry Assistant, Erika!) Her books are engaging & reflective of the beautiful heart of the woman who wrote them. Our ladies at our recent retreat had only great things to say about Shannon. I highly recommend Shannon as a wise & wonderful choice for your next ladies' retreat or conference!

Excellent women's conference speaker! Shannon is genuine, relatable, and biblically grounded. Her love and care for women was evident as she spoke on "Control Girl" and also chatted and prayed with women between sessions. She really challenged the ladies to surrender whatever God might be calling them to surrender and to walk away taking simple, active steps to change and apply what they had learned. Shannon was a joy to work with, and we would highly recommend her as a speaker.

Shannon did our Ladies Retreat and did a fantastic job! She was insightful and Biblical in her material. She read the group well and adjusted her plans as she felt the Lord leading. Highly recommend!
