Angela Freeman Lewis is the author of Knowing Him: A Book About Worship. A designer, singer-psalmist, evangelist-teacher and coach, she brings tools of freedom for restoration, healing and empowerment.
=====
After going through the trauma of physical abuse in the 1980s, the Lord used praise & worship music coupled with the Word of God as an integral part of producing emotional healing, restoration, and empowerment in her life.
After having received God’s healing, God’s assignment for her was to “teach the Body of Christ about what she had learned about worship & intimacy with the Father.” In the 1990s, Angela got the opportunity to learn more about
worship through a series of annual conferences held by national and internationally known praise & worship leaders. There she received an impartation of the psalmist anointing and began to write songs and flow in the prophetic song.
She has ministered to emotionally wounded women in transitional homes, in jail settings, and in home groups and church settings; and now the Lord has given her the opportunity to minister via Virtual Meetings to coach and mentor such women back to emotional and “soul-healing” by using the spiritual weapons of the Spirit of God and the Word of God.
Knowing Him: A Book About Worship is a combination of: Angela’s “beauty for ashes – joy for mourning” testimonies and revelations (as stated in Isaiah 61 of the bible); a study guide with scriptures and teachings on the benefits and
necessity of worship; the pattern of The Tabernacle which represents a model of believers as the “temple” where God resides; and becoming over-comers of the hard circumstances of life, which is especially vital for “last-days warfare” with which the body of Christ will have to contend.
